The Vive Group, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in New York City, serving as a shelter and support system for women, including single mothers and their children, who are experiencing homelessness. This is more than just a shelter — it’s a place of restoration, dignity, and new beginnings. Our mission is to help women not only survive, but truly live.
Founder & CEO
At the heart of The Vive Group is Julissa Perez — a powerhouse CEO, visionary leader, and proud cancer survivor who turned personal pain into purpose. Her first nonprofit, My Beauty
Mark Foundation (MBMF), was born from her battle with cancer and focused on offering hope and support to women fighting for their lives.
MBMF eventually evolved into The Vive Group, inspired by the Spanish word vivir (to live), as
Julissa deepened her mission: to provide stable housing and holistic services for women and
children in crisis.
Under her leadership, The Vive Group offers:
- Housing Support
- Case management,
- Job placement,
- Nutritional & Wellness Support Services and
- Life Skills Training
Every service is designed to help women rebuild their lives with confidence and reclaim their power.
